Negoro lacquer flower vase by Yamashita Kazuo. This piece is entirely red, but its deep luster comes from the Negoro technique: a black lacquer base is overlaid with a vivid vermillion, creating a warm, vibrant color that develops a patina over time.

The vase is in excellent condition, with no scratches or chips, and retains all the shine of its lacquer.

Delivered in its original tomobako, it is a testament to the mastery of Yamashita Kazuo, one of the most highly regarded craftsmen of contemporary lacquer.
