Cristina Ortega, founder of Sinapango, is an accredited expert with the Compagnie Nationale des Experts Spécialisés (CNES) and the Compagnie d’Experts Français en Antiquités (CEFA). She brings collectors, interior designers, institutions and auction houses more than 40 years of experience in Asian art, including over 30 years as an accredited expert.

Specialising in Japanese and Chinese works of art, she appraises both antique and modern pieces, including ceramics, lacquerware, screens, scholars’ objects, decorative works and objects made for everyday use. Each appraisal considers provenance, techniques, condition and value on the international art market.
