Cristina Ortega and Michel Dermigny - Sinapango – Art of Japan and Asia in Paris
Modern Japanese ceramics, rare objects and interior decoration
Located in the heart of the prestigious Carré Rive Gauche , a stone's throw from the Musée d'Orsay and across from the Louvre, the Sinapango gallery specializes in Asian art. Founded and directed by Cristina Ortega and Michel Dermigny , both renowned antique dealers, the gallery has been welcoming an international clientele in the 7th arrondissement of Paris for over 15 years. Cristina Ortega has worked in the art field for over 40 years, and Michel Dermigny for over 30 years. Their shared perspective and complementary expertise create a unique space where aesthetic rigor meets a passion for distant cultures.
A selection of rare objects, between tradition and modernity
The gallery offers a rigorous selection of art objects, with a recognized specialization in 20th-century and contemporary Japanese ceramics . Alongside these pieces, there are also antique and modern Japanese lacquerware , Japanese screens , scholarly objects , Chinese ceramics and, more occasionally, primitive art objects from Asia and the Pacific.
Each piece is chosen for its visual strength, its rarity or its ability to interact with a contemporary or eclectic interior . The gallery has become a reference for Japanese art collectors , interior designers , but also for the curious in search of a unique object .
