Located in the heart of the prestigious Carré Rive Gauche, close to the Musée d’Orsay and opposite the Louvre, Sinapango specialises in Asian art. Founded and directed by Cristina Ortega and Michel Dermigny, both established antiques dealers, the gallery has welcomed an international clientele in Paris’s 7th arrondissement for more than 15 years. Cristina Ortega has worked in the art world for over 40 years and Michel Dermigny for more than 30. Their complementary expertise and shared eye have shaped a distinctive gallery where aesthetic rigour meets a deep knowledge of Asian cultures.

A Selection of Rare Works, Between Tradition and Modernity

The gallery presents a carefully curated selection of works of art, with a recognised specialisation in 20th-century and contemporary Japanese ceramics. The collection also includes antique and modern Japanese lacquerware, Japanese screens, scholars’ objects, Chinese ceramics and, more occasionally, works from the indigenous arts of Asia and the Pacific.

Each piece is selected for its visual strength, rarity or ability to enter into dialogue with a contemporary or eclectic interior. The gallery has become a reference for collectors of Japanese art and interior designers, as well as for those seeking an unusual and distinctive object.
