Sinapango Gallery specializes in Japanese screens from the 17th to the 20th century. These painted works, mounted on folding panels called byōbu, were used to divide space in homes, temples, or court residences. They combine architectural function with pictorial expression. We also feature several Japanese paintings mounted on scrolls or framed in Western style.
We select antique and modern pieces for their composition, craftsmanship, and state of preservation. Hung on the wall or installed in a space, our screens are suitable for both contemporary and classic interiors.
Our expertise in this field allows us to support collectors, decorators and architects in the choice and integration of these pieces into their projects.
