Rectangular cushion by Sinapango Interiors Paris, made from a superb Nishijin brocade with a dominant red palette. The design combines large red flowers with silver and gold flowers and foliage, set against a black and gold ground that heightens the contrast of the weave.
The richness of the brocade lies in the alternation of satin-like surfaces, woven relief and metallic threads. The result is a highly decorative, intense and luminous cushion with a strong presence in an interior.
