Nishijin Silver-Weave Cushion with Peony Design

Contemporary cushion by Sinapango Interiors Paris, made from a Japanese Nishijin-type weave, in a very original and finely made textile.

The design combines a large peony in a soft pink gradient with a smaller peony, set against a silver ground worked in several textures. The different silver tones create a subtle contrast with the pink flowers, while the black woven floral motif gives the cushion a stronger graphic line.

In Japanese decorative arts, the peony is associated with beauty, abundance and elegance. Here it is treated with great chromatic softness, between pale pink, silver and black, giving the cushion a luminous yet structured presence.

The reverse is plain, in a matching light tone. The cushion is fully removable, like all Sinapango Interiors Paris cushions.
